Snow on the Foothills

Leica CL + Leica Summicron-C 40mm f2

It has been an unusually warm winter so far, but this morning we finally woke to a bit of snow. The mountain roads were dangerously slippery, so we did not venture up to the areas that got the most snow. But it was nice to wander about the foothills to feel the crunch under our boots and enjoy the otherworldly views.

There is something I really like about the look of this photo; it gives me a 1970s continental European feel and maybe reminds me of a film I’ve seen that I cannot quite remember.
