View Along the Path

Leica CL + Leica Summicron-C 40mm f2

I always enjoy the walk from the Derry train station into the city centre. The footpath feels secluded, as if walking through the woods - whereas in fact it simply lies in a dip, with a thicket of trees forming a sort of uphill border between it and the busy main road. Occasionally there are gaps in the trees, with glimpses of the main road visible. This is a view I often admire, but had not thought to photograph before.
