Culmore Point
Not trying to be juvenile here, but I admire the way the penile graffiti on the lighthouse offsets the rust on the ship across the water. Both are illuminated by the glow of the sun and it creates a nice sense of compositional harmony.
The setting is Culmore Point - a peninsula outside of Derry that would have been gloriously scenic, if it weren’t for the view of the Maydown Powerstation and the Dupont factory across the water! But that is a topic for another time.
