Leica M9 + Leica Summarit 35mm f2.5

Gary took some test shots of me with his Leica M9. I chose these pyjamas because of the colours and this worked out well. I am somewhat surprised by how glamorous the pyjamas look; in real life they are quite baggy and not especially appealing. Just goes to show that an effective wardrobe for photos will not necessarily be the same as a wardrobe that looks good in-person.

I don’t think that the 35mm focal length works as well here as the 50mm focal length used in previous photos. It’s interesting when used in these unusual vantage points, but I mean not so much for head-on portraits. But I do prefer the Summarit lens to the Nikon. This is starting to look very promising as an indoor portrait setting!
