Dropp Pullover

€6.50

As far as sweater styles go, it does not get any more basic than a relaxed dropped shoulder pullover. But even basic garment construction can be intriguing - particularly when approached from a different perspective.

Unlike most dropped shoulder designs, the Dropp pullover is worked with contiguous sleeve shaping. For those who prefer to knit in the round uninterrupted, this will be a welcome alternative to the more traditional method of working the front and back of the yoke separately and picking up sleeve stitches from armholes. Another advantage to this method of construction, is that it results in a more flowing, less blocky, aesthetic, than a typical dropped shoulder design.

Ideal as a blank canvas pattern, the Dropp will suit a variety of yarn blends and colour schemes. Options are provided for different neckband and hem treatments. Additionally, the Appendix offers instructions for an alternative method of working the shoulders, and for adding a versatile hood.
