Voigtlander Skopar + Low Light
It gets dark shortly after 4pm now. These photos were taken at approximately 3:30pm.
The lens adapter had just arrived in the post, and I immediately ran outside while there was still some light remaining.
I was still trying to get a handle on how the manual focus + EVF worked together as I snapped at him cycling around the yard. Also, I managed to set the image mode to B&W and couldn’t get out of it quickly enough, so just went with it {my second day using the camera!}. But considering the light conditions, and that the subject is moving and backlit {the sun is setting behind those farm buildings}, I was pleased with the test shots.
ISO800, f2.8, shutter speed somewhere between 1/60 and 1/200.
I rarely have cause to use ISO over 800, so the fact that this camera’s ISO goes up to gazillion is neither here nor there. But I will try more low-light photos in future and who knows - might just push the boat out to ISO1600.
