Chair and Snowdrops

Leica CL + Summarit 75mm f2.4

It has become almost a tradition, that if I get a new lens or adapter, something continuously prevents me from testing it properly, tormenting me with anticipation. I have already tried the 75mm on some flowers and random things in the garden, and was looking forward to finally taking portraits. But the photoshoot I had planned for today was cancelled, so instead I took portraits of the empty chair.

The scene also looks good in colour, and I would use colour for knitwear photos. But when it’s just the chair I think I prefer it in black and white.
