Snowdrops and Mohair

Leica CL + Summarit 75mm f2.4

I could of course be remembering this incorrectly, but somehow I was certain that in previous years snowdrops only lasted a few days once they blossomed. This year they emerged some time in the second half of January, and have been out for weeks. I was reluctant to pick them at first, but the wooded side of the green is covered in them now, so I’ve started taking them into the house and even using them in knitwear photoshoots. They are absolutely beautiful, and hardier than I expected. Even sitting in a vase, this bouquet lasted a week.
