Platinum Eyes

Leica CL + Summitar 75mm f2.4

My daughter has unusually coloured eyes. They are a sort of platinum-grey, leaning almost toward lilac - although in some lighting condition they can also appear green. Considering that she seldom stays still and we live in a perpetually overcast climate, this can be difficult to capture. But these spontaneous snapshots come surprisingly close.

The bit of ‘bokeh’ in background is coming from the fireplace. The main light source is the window. Unfortunately this effect is difficult to replicate, but I will try again, hopefully devising a method of keeping her still and maybe even looking at the camera!
