The Patient Snowdrops

Leica CL + Summarit 75mm f2.4

When the snowdrops emerged, I expected them to last a day or two. Amazingly, they are still there over a week later, and I was able to try my idea with the chair during our sweater photoshoot. Of course the light was completely different from when I photographed the chair on its own, and it was raining. But these are nice in a different way.

This was my first time taking knitwear photos with the 75mm Summarit, and I am extremely happy with it. This plus the 40mm Summicron-C, are pretty much the lenses I will be using when models are involved - supplemented with the Zeiss Jena 24mm macro for close-ups. The 3 month search for the perfect set of ‘work lenses’ has come to an end.
